What size wheel for this tire - 24" x 2.125"?

I am going to get new wheels for my bike. Its a beach cruiser and I want 2.125" width tires. Do I get a 2.125" wheel or a 1.75"?

In the mean time I'll say that the number that matters is the 24" part. That's the diameter of the tire. The second number is the width, which is more of a preference within certain parameters.

On a beach cruiser I'd say the bigger the better and go for 2.125 vs the 1.75. If they fit on on your frame you'll like a bigger tire more on the beach to be sure.
