How big is Lance Armstrong's Bicycle Tire? Specifically the one he used in the Tour de France. I would also appreciate a link to a source with the information (not that I don't trust you).
If it is unknown, what are the tire size limits for the Tour de France, again a link would be appreciated.
If there are no limits, what is a normal bicycle tire size for the types of bikes used in the Tour de France (mountain bikes?).

The question about Lance Armstrong's tire size has nothing to do with my bike riding. Infact, I need to know it for a Physics problem, and nothing else (it's really odd, so I don't want to explain it).
I really need to know how big his tires are, or the size limits of the Tour de France.
road bikes run what are reffered to as 700 c tires. they fit a 27 inch rim. as for width i am running a 700x23 conti gp4000 which i would hazard a guess as to be aprox 13/16ths of an inch, i dont have a caliper guage handy and dont know the conversions. tour riders will run some thing similar possibly narrower. but it will be 27in i.d. that is road standard for adult bikes.
