What's the best place for spring skiing in Vermont?
This year we spent a week at Stowe in mid/late March and had great conditions. But for next year we are wondering if Killington or Sugar Bush would be fun to try. We like blues and blacks, and don't go in the woods. Stowe has a large amount of blue cruisers, which we enjoyed. We're looking for a fairly relaxed place, with nice accomodations on the hill. We don't ski very often, so don't mind spending $ when we do. We used to ski Stratton, but figured should go north for better spring skiing.
Killington is the first place that comes to mind when I think Vermont spring skiing. Secondly comes Mt. Snow. These mountains have great snow this time of year that keeps a pretty good cover. It makes it a blast to go skiing there.
