why my cruiser vibrates?
hi i am riding a honda steed, a shadow like cruiser made in 1994.
the bike is in good condition, as i have done lots of servicing, be it front forks, both tyres, steering cone, electrical components, wheel bearings, i even done valve clearance and top overhaul.
however, whenever i am riding, esp when in gear 3 and 4, i can feel vibration coming from the bike. to describe this vibration, its as though i am riding a horse, and i can feel mild galloping of the motorcycle. sometimes my head would even go up and down slightly due to the vibration. its def not those swaying or jerking vibration. more of like galloping.
so thats my question. what could be the cause. i have tighten the steering cone, change and top up fork oil, wheel bearings changed, and tyres changed. could it be the rear shock problem? or any one experienced the same thing before and know the answer? cheers.
Bingo. Check the chain and sprockets. I'll bet you will find a number of tight links, probably all together.
