how to build a road bike?
i have found hybrid frame just nice for my height (165cm). and bought 2nd hand shimano set (shimano 600 rear derailleur and 105 front derailleur. shimano 105 crankset and shimano MZ-TZ07 7 speed cassette and shimano 105 shifters). what kind device i must use to open and re-instal new cottom bracket cups and the freewheel? i know i can open the Stem with a normal spanner. need your advise plz
FYI the 105 shifters is not STi. look like old model.
It sounds as if you have a bunch of mismatched parts that may or may not work together. Do you know if your shifters are compatible with a 7 speed freewheel? Are your wheels made for a freewheel or a cassette? To install a bottom bracket you need the correct tool for that particular bottom bracket, there are several different types. Without knowing the exact year and model of those components, there is really no way to tell what you need.
