What is your fave pacific island!?!? fiji? Raro? Samoa?
My family and i went to rarotonga and we really enjoyed it!! We enjoyed how it was a big lagoon and not open. We are considering going to another island, i would love to hear about your favourite islands you have been to and what they were like, weather? people? beach? any sharks? My mum wants to go to Fiji but i think Samoa seems cool or tahiti! cheers!!!!! 
Picking a favorite is hard. All the south pacific Islands we've been to have been fabulous. Hubby's fave is Rarotonga. My fave is a toss up between Bora Bora, and Castaway Island (Fiji).
Bora Bora has the most amazing lagoon. We swam and fed the rays and reef sharks. Over the water bungalows are awesome too. Not alot to do besides beach it. There were a few tours on the Island like the 4x4 tour, para sailing, snorkeling etc.
Castaway Island is a tiny Island off of Viti Levu. Again not much to do, but beach activities. The snorkeling out front of our beach bure was fantastic. If you're looking to relax, it's great.
Also stayed for 2 weeks on the big Island on the coral coast, at the hideaway. Lots of tours, and a great resort. The Fijians are some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. Even the locals come out and say bula. Absolutely loved the people there.
Tahiti was nice to0. Stayed at the Inter-continental in an over the water bungalow. Papette is a short ride on la truck, so you have the option of going into town to the market etc. Tahiti and her Islands are french speaking, and it is very expensive.
